I am getting the following error on multiple accounts using Outlook 2007 Beta
2.

Task 'Account XYZ - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC80): "None of the
authentication methods supported by this client are supported by your server."

These same accounts were all sending just fine this morning. My ISP seems
fine, I have created these accounts in Outlook Express and they can send and
receive just fine. I have run Outlook Diagnostics, which found no errors,
also re-run the install in repair mode. Even recreated my profile and all the
accounts. No joy.

Incoming email works just fine, nothing goes out however. If no one in this
group can help can someone tell me how to send information to the Office 2007
team? I am sure they would like to know about issues like this.

Cheers,

Robert Porter

RE: Sending Email Issues

I'm having the exact same problems. Everything was working fine this morning
both sending and receiving. But now I cannot send anything and I get that
0x800CCC80): "None of the authentication methods supported by this client are
supported by your server." error message.
Anyone any thoughts on the matter,

Alan Robinson.

RE: Sending Email Issues

I was having the same problem. I solved the problem by changing internet
email settings, more settings, outgoing server, and removing the check in the
box that my outgoing server requires authentication. I can now send email.

RE: Sending Email Issues

It fixed my issue for one email account, but not the rest. I need to use the
SMTP server for my ISP on all accounts as they block SMTP traffic to external
SMTP servers.
